PET FRIENDLY POLICIES
Our policies are in place to ensure the safety, well- being and comfort of our valued guests and their doggie companions. We appreciate your cooperation adhering to the Black Lab Inn policies.
Thank you.

1. All dogs must have proof of their Rabies vaccinations
   This should be administered at least 7 days before arriving
   For dogs on a more holistic lifestyle - a letter from your vet confirming they are healthy is sufficient. (our dogs are of course up to date on their shots)
   
2. Dogs should be on a flea prevention program during Spring to Fall.
3. All dogs are permitted in guestrooms and common areas but not on the furniture please. No deposit is required for keeping a dog in a guestroom. We reserve the right to full reimbursement for any damage caused by doggie guests or their owners. We provide dog beds, towels and blankets if needed.
4. Doggie guests can be left alone in guestrooms or crated. [Crates are available upon request]. In either case, guests are responsible for any damage to the room and dogs must be comfortable being left alone so as to not be crying, barking while in the room. We suggest not leaving them immediately after checking-in though.
   We do have an excellent dog walker who can come and walk your dog if needed.
5. Doggie Guests must be at least 12 weeks old
6. In general, dogs must be friendly towards people and other dogs. No aggressive dogs will be allowed. Our guests must utilize all measures to prevent their dogs from loud, frequent, habitual barking, howling, crying, or yelping.
7. All guests are expected to pick up after their dogs. Should an accident in the house happen there are cleaning supplies under all the bathroom sinks. Please let us know so the stain can be treated appropriately.
8. Dogs must be under control at all times but are not required to be leashed at all times
   
9. Breakfast: Is served from 7:00-9:00 Monday to Friday and 8:00-9:30 on weekends and holidays. Please notify us in advance of any dietary needs, every effort will be made to provide a suitable alternative.
10. Check-in and Check-out Policy:
    - Checkout is at 11:00 AM.
    - Check in times are from 3 PM - 7 PM, except Fridays which are 3:00-9 PM.
    - If you have any special requests please give us ample notice and we will try our best to accommodate you
11. All accommodations are smoke free. Our smoking guests must smoke outside a minimum of 10 feet from any entrance.
12. Privacy Policy: All information gathered about our guests is strictly for the internal use of Black Lab Inn. The Black Lab Inn may use this information for internal marketing studies and may use it to contact past customers from time to time. We do not share or sell this information to any outside individuals or organizations. If a customer wishes this information removed from our records (other than our copy of the guest registration), please inform the Management.
13. Cancellation Policy:
    - For reservations cancelled 14 days or more before arrival: Guest receives full refund less $35 administrative expenses.
    -For reservations cancelled less than 14 days before arrival: If we are able to rebook the room, guest will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. If we are unable to rebook the room, unfortunately the guest will forfeit the entire payment due.
    - Unfortunately, in the event that we do not receive notice of your cancellation, your account will be charged the full amount of your stay.
14. Reservations will be confirmed by email, at which time a deposit equal to half of your total stay will be due. The balance is due up checkout. Confirmation of vaccinations should be faxed/emailed to us at this time.
15. Children: Because of the liability associated with dogs and children, we have opted to only accept children over the age of 10. If you wish to bring a child who is under the age of 10, please call us and we will try our very best to accommodate you.
